I support the proposed amendment to re-instate the Excelsior College RN program.

I love being a nurse, and have been a practicing LPN for over 10 years. But as a single mother of 2 children it is truly impossible for me to sit in class at my local community college or do 500 hours of clinicals in addition to my 40-50 work week. Most of the LPN's I know are in the same situation as me.

I believe that reinstating this program will go along way to alleviate the current RN shortage, which as everyone knows, is projected to worsen with our aging population.
