Although someone that is not familiar with Excelsior's program may feel that it does not properly prepare nurses, let me assure you that this is not the case.  The process of learning can be done in many different ways, and although Excelsior's way of preparing students is different then a "traditional" program, it is valid and requires that students be familiar with aspects of nursing care in the same matter expected of any other ASN student.
