Description A regulation that establishes (1) requirements for registering a pesticide for sale in the Commonwealth; (2) requirements for users of pesticides on handling, storage, and disposal of pesticides or pesticide containers; and (3) specifications on the selection and maintenance of equipment used in the application of pesticides.

Goals of Regulation 1. The protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare with the least possible cost and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.

2. The ensuring that pesticides offered for sale are properly labeled, mixed, handled, applied and stored.

3. The ensuring that used pesticide containers and unwanted pesticides are disposed of properly.
