Description This regulation is considered essential to protect the health, safety and welfare of children who are separated from their parents during a part of the day by (i) establishing standards to ensure that the activities, services, and facilities of a family day home are conducive to the health, safety and well-being of children and (ii) by reducing the risk of harm to children in a family day home environment.
