Reason for Withdrawal
The Department of Criminal Justice Services will start a new action. The new action will separate the responsibilities of the law enforcement officer and the agency from the responsibilities of the academy.
General Information
Action Summary Rules Relating to Compulsory Minimum Training Standards for Law-Enforcement Officers (6VAC20-20) governs the minimum training requirements for entry level law-enforcement officers. This regulatory action is intended to correct outdated Code references, clarify confusing language and modify language to include current business practices.
