| Purpose of the meeting This workgroup stems from SB 1327. The Department of Health Professions has been asked to convene a workgroup on Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) programs (a doctoral degree for physician assistants), to discuss the DMS degree and recommend any legislative or regulatory initiatives relative to these programs, especially considering primary care issues in rural areas. | |
