| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comment on a proposed permit for Synagro Central, LLC to land apply biosolids and water treatment plant residuals in Madison County. Synagro Central, LLC. has applied for a new permit to land apply biosolids and water treatment plant residuals to 2,024.5 acres of agricultural land at 8 sites identified in the draft permit and located within Madison County. The permit will limit the application of nutrients, metals, and pathogens contained in these materials to amounts that protect water quality and human health. The public comment period begins on April 21, 2016 and ends on June 17, 2016. An informational briefing will be held before the public hearing from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. | |
