| Purpose of the meeting This Public Hearing is being held in accordance with Section 45.1-184.1 of the Code of Virginia on a permit application for a mine adjacent to U.S. Route 17 approximately 8.5 miles west of Port Royal VA. The permit application is entitled “Moss Neck Sand and Gravel Mine”, and was submitted by Chaney Enterprises, LP. The permit documents will be available for review by the public, beginning at 6:00PM. The Public Hearing will begin at 7:00 PM, and public comment will be taken at that time. | |
