| Purpose of the meeting The purpose of the public hearing is to engage the Franklin City community in the revisions to the division’s corrective action plan, and to better understand the views about what can be done to improve education in Franklin City. All schools in Franklin City Public Schools have been ‘Accredited with Warning’ for two consecutive years, and have federal sanctions due to not meeting the federal annual measurable objectives (AMOs). The corrective action plan contains a number of steps that need to be taken in Franklin City in order to bring the schools back up to ‘Fully Accredited’ status.
