| Purpose of the meeting The purpose of the meeting is for the DMME to provide an overview of the coal mining industry safety performance through March, 2014. Also, the Board will review and approve the annual Coal Mine Safety Awards. The meeting is open to the public. No public comment has been requested; however, the Board will receive comments from interested parties related to the work of the Board at the end of the meeting. Due to time constraints, public comments may be limited. | |
