On 7/16/2018 the board requested that this
emergency stage be extended until 5/10/2019.
Reason for Extension:
DBHDS respectfully requests an extension of the emergency regulation to allow more time for the adoption of the permanent regulation. On May 12, 2017, the emergency/NOIRA became effective. The Executive Branch review for the proposed stage occurred August 21, 2017 - June 29, 2018. The proposed stage was filed on June 29, 2018; the comment period will not close until September 21, 2018, and then the final stage must be initiated. The emergency regulation will expire on November 11, 2018. Additional time is necessary to allow for the final stage, thus ensuring that there is no gap in services or funding for peer recovery services or peer recovery specialists.
