9VAC5-140-6010 Use of biomass for electricity

The use of biomass in cogeneration plants is not only carbon nuetral but it is a renewable resource. To use a renewable resource for fuel is nature friendly and economically more efficient than fossil fuels or solar power. Trees are replanted or natural regrowth are beneficial for the enviroment. To stop the use of biomass fuels would be a loss to the enviroment as well as the economy. Recovering wood waste to be used for fuel is more efficient than fossil fuels. The regrowth of new trees generates more oxygen for the atmosphere than wind or solar power. This would help with global warming more than wind or solar power because they don't generate any oxygen for the atmosphere.
