The unintended consequence (or perhaps intentional consequence, depending on where one stands on the issue) of this ammendment would open the door to false advertising and is misleading the general public. 

Dentistry as a whole would to take a hit because of the confusion this will create to the general public. 

I understand that there are several dental specialties that have been unsuccessful in becoming recognized by the ADA, but this is not the way to go about gaining recognition.  This ammendment creates a slippery slope that will get abused.
