Use the DMME demand response contract to apply for energy efficiency rebates
 

PJM offers rebates for energy efficiency projects - for up to 4 years once completed. These rebates apply to lighting, renovations, new energy efficient buildings, variable frequency drives, chiller replacements, geothermal. This year in 2018, 397 separate projects were submitted to the PJM program for a total of 10MW in permanent reductions. 

 

Projects can be submitted retroactively - we can go back to a completion date of June 1, 2015 for projects that still have one year of eligibility on their rebates.

 

A wide variety of participants have utilized this contract successfully. For example, in 2018, the following organizations submitted projects and will collect energy rebates for the next 1-4 years (depending on when the project completed):

Virginia Tech

George Mason

James Madison University

Virginia State University

Christopher Newport

Virginia Community College System (multiple campuses)

Radford University

Mary Washington

City of Virginia Beach

City of Alexandria

Department of General Services (Includes Supreme Court, Madison, Monroe, Consolidated Labs, Patrick Henry)

Arlington County Schools

Virginia Beach Schools

Chesterfield County Schools

County of Henrico

Isle of Wight Schools

Loudoun County Schools

Virginia Department of Corrections

VMI

Virginia Veterans Care Center

Stafford Schools

Page County Schools

Buchanan County Schools

Dulles Airport
