Reduce carbon emissions, include methane, and protect, not burn, forests

I support strong regulations of carbon emissions, but most importantly, including methane into the equation, which is a much more potent greenhouse gas than CO2, and is inevitably released during the fracking and shipping of so-called natural gas.  We cannot continue to be deluded that natural gas is "cleaner" than coal. In addition, one of the best strategies to reduce carbon in the atmosphere is to retain and stregthen our forests, which act as a natural carbon sink.  It's insanity to cut trees to build new gas pipelines, which is what is happening in Virginia and West Virginia now.
