I am concerned with the expectations for implementation of the new regulations. Just as VDOE took time to thoughtfully develop these proposed regulations, it will take university faculty time to revamp existing courses and programs. Any new course or program revisions will need to be sent through several rounds of review and voting before it can even reach our Curriculum Committees, and this process takes at a minimum one year. There is additional concern for how this would affect our students currently in the pipeline to have changes requiring a quick turnaround. 

In short, we need at a minimum one year to implement these new regulations
