My friends from other states keep asking, "What's wrong with Virginia?" They already know the answer, and they wonder why the Commonwealth's electorate ever elected these extremists. That I can't answer. I voted against and I lost, in a landside. I love my state and I'm sick of its being an object of ridicule. My hope is 2012, when Virginians can redeem themselves and vote the whole bad bunch out. (Unless a political/personal scandal ensues against McDonnell and Cuccinelli, which may well still happen.)
