Description These regulations detail the procedures for becoming a Neighborhood Assistance project including the criteria for approval, termination or project status and appeal process. Goals of Regulation The purpose of the Neighborhood Assistance Program is to encourage business firms and individuals to make donations to neighborhood organizations for the benefit of impoverished people. The regulation promotes the administration of the program by providing guidelines for organizations wishing to become approved projects, a uniform methodology for allocation of tax credits, and procedures for accepting and making donations.
