Description § 36-85.2. et seq. of the Code of Virginia requires the Board of Housing and Community Development (BHCD) to adopt, amend, or repeal such rules and regulations as are necessary to implement the Virginia Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Law in compliance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 as amended (42 U.S.C. § 5401 et seq.) and the Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards and the Federal Manufactured Home Procedural and Enforcement Regulations enacted by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
