General Information
Action Summary 1. The proposed amendment at 12 VAC 30-70-291 updates current state regulations to indicate an additional indirect medical education (IME) payment will be made to freestanding children’s hospitals in the District of Columbia. 2. The proposed amendment at 12 VAC 30-70-301 eliminates disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments to out-of-state children’s hospitals, to include freestanding children’s hospitals in the District of Columbia. 3. The proposed amendments at 12 VAC 30-70-425 and 12 VAC 30-80-20 updates existing regulations to allow additional supplemental payments to be issued to each non-state government owned acute care hospital for inpatient services provided to Medicaid patients.
