General Information
Action Summary On July 1, 2018, the Code was changed to include the following in the covered substances that must be reported to the Prescription Monitoring Program: 1) Schedule V drugs for which a prescription is required; 2) the drug naloxone; and 3) cannabidiol oil or THC-A oil dispensed by a pharmaceutical processor in Virginia.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
